SCHOOL'S OUT!!!

Whew... SCHOOL'S OUT!!!!!

I am soooo happy schools out. No more studying for at least another 3 months!!! This school year was kinda cool though. First of all I was thrown into what I called a school for nerds at first, and as my dear friend Rita predicted I FIT RIGHT IN!!! LOL... well not really. But I have to admitted I enjoyed being around all the smart people, especially when I knew what they were talking about. And the interesting thing about these nerds is they were actually pretty cool. LOL.

I met some real interesting people too, like Dr.Brown, the most awesome chem teacher ever!!! Loved Sue Bard as well, she's so sweet and funny. And of course there's my chem study buddies, Pipan who always brought us food... gotta love her!!! Jay who is super smart and cool, and last but DEFINITELY not least my 'new best friend' (he doesn't know this) Homan, he's a super genius with the coolest personality, crazy as hell too... I can safely say I've never met anyone like him.

So all in all this year was great!!!

I never thought this would be so cool since I was and still is missing my BFF. I miss our crazy convos about hypothetical people and things, our runs to Mickey D's, our wknds at the beach, our trips to our favourite places ZUZU's and Walmart!!! I was also missing my job and McDreamy... ahhhhhhhh... but this works!!!

GOD IS REAL!!!

I've met alot of people in recent months that do not believe in God. Some believe there is a greater power but they don't feel the need to worship. Others believe there is a God but resent organized religion. These facts are very disturbing to me because I can't imagine living without my God, and my religion. I can't refuse God. There is so much He has done for me. Even though I can't see Him or touch Him I believe He is real. As a Christian I have learned to WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT.

The song 'What If' by Nicole Nordeman explores the possiblity of there NOT being a God. She says

My question to the unbelievers is WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG?

How can you not believe God is Real?

India Arie asks this question in her song, 'God is Real'. She then gives numerous examples as to why she knows God is real. How can someone deny there is a God after noting all these things? Here's the India Arie song...

DAY 26 ROCKS!!!

In the past couple weeks yours truly has become a 'groupie' not that that is a good thing but confession is good for the soul. I LOVE DAY 26!!! Their album is 'totally awesome'. I haven't listened to anything but Day 26 in a week!!! No India Arie, No Heather Headley, No Tamia, No Lupe Fiasco... NO MARIAH CAREY!!! This obsession with Day 26 is getting out of hand!!! The guys in the band are so hottttt!!! I would take either Que, Robert or Mike for myself. Willie and Brian I would give away though. But I still love them cuz their vocals are great!!! These guys are so gonna give Boys II Men a run for their money. Their songs are very sexy... and Nahja loves sexy :-D

I miss my Rita!!!

I miss our evenings in the library. I miss the Mickey D's run in the evenings when we should be at work. I miss your analytical lectures on my crazy life. I miss going to the pier and Zuzu's. I miss fighting over the radio.

I wish you were here so I could tell you all about him.( I need to know what you think). I wish you were here so we could hang out and tell each other crazy stories, make up new words, and laugh til we start crying.

Just so you know...

You are the MOST wonderful friend EVER!!! You are always there for me when I need you the most. You always know the right things to say to cheer me up. You were always there to play the perfect song to comfort me in every situation.

Is there really an increase in human sexual desire during Spring???

Abstract: So... I heard of a really interesting phenomenon yesterday. I was told that during the spring time humans have a greater desire to engage in sexual activities (had to make it sound nice :-D ). I am not sure if this is true but it's the explanation a friend of mine gave for the obvious increase in physical attraction to and desire for the opposite sex that we have observed.

Hypothesis: Humans are hornier (is that a proper english word?) during Spring.

Observations:

1. Either I have suddenly become way more attractive which I doubt because for the past two weeks my hair has not been looking so nice... in fact it looks horrible, or these guys are just so horny that they cant keep away. Note: I am not talking about one or two guys. Today four different guys were doing some serious flirting avec moi in less that 30 mins! Usually one evry hour is normal... four in 30 mins was a record given my bad hair and all.
2. I have seen a significant increase in PDA.
3. There have been an increase in the amount of skin on display by females. (could be a result of the warmer temperatures or a way of attract the opposite sex???)

Discussion:

The behavior of the subjects may be due to that fact that warmer temperatures allow women to wear less clothes and show more skin therefore unknowingly appearing sexier which is driving the men crazy. In which case it may be safe to assume that in the Summer there will a greater increase in this particular behavior. It is also possible that this increase in sexual desire is analogous to the behavior in plant who will be having sex a lot as well during this period.

Conclusion:

You tell me what you think!!!

Feeling Smart

My brain cells have finally decided to make themselves useful again. I feel sooooooo smart today. I think I Aced my ORGANIC CHEMISTRY II exam !!!!!!! I am on a high... up very high... on cloud nine. If you know anything about Organic Chemistry you know it was invented to kick students ass... at least thats what almost everyone that has to do it thinks; so that's why I'm so happy!!! What can I say... I have an awesome professor and helpful classmates. Thank you Lord!!!

Also, I did well on my Genetics exam too!!!

MED SCHOOL HERE I COME!!!!
