I've been so busy with school I haven't had a chance to post a decent blog, or comment on other peoples blogs. Well, midterm grades are out, and after getting over the fact that I'm failing one class and having As in six others I've decided its time I come back to the blogosphere and greet all my peeps. So peeps...WAD UP!!!!!!!!!!!! There have been so many changes in my personality in the past week it's crazy. I couldn't believe I could have made such an improvement in only one week. And as I was surfing the net, for I don't even remember what, I came across this peom. Wish I'd seen it a long time ago. ENJOY!!!
My Comfort Zone

I use to have a Comfort Zone
Where I knew I couldn't fail
The same four walls of busy work
Were really more like jail.
I longed so much to do the things
I'd never done before,
But I stayed inside my Comfort Zone
And paced the same old floor
I claimed to be so busy
With the things inside my zone,
But deep inside I longed for
Something special of my own.
I couldn't let my life go by,
Just watching others win.
I held my breath and stepped outside
And let the change begin.
I took a step and with new strength
I'd never felt before,
I kissed my Comfort Zone 'goodbye'
And closed and locked the door.
If you are in a Comfort Zone,
Afraid to venture out,
Remember that all winners were
At one time filled with doubt.
A step or two and words of praise,
Can make your dreams come true.
Greet your future with a smile,
Success is there for you!

This was a great post and it is so true how much we hide behind our comfort zones. I am moving to DC in a couple of months and I had to completely step out of my comfort zone to do this. I don't really know anyone in DC and I have lived in California for such a long time and know my way around both Northern and Southern Cali extremely well...but I gotta do it..it is time!!

strange though,i feel like I am crawling back into mine. wish i wouldn't. but all I can do for now is wish i wouldn't.
